Hmm didnt todays Goth's dress sense and look origionate from the new romantic scene , with all the ruffles and *old style* gothic clothing and MEN wearing makeup , and the advent of electronic music as it progressed and evolved , and then from that the industrial scene came about , and the music got *darker* and the cloth's blacker and the face whiter due to some bizzare connection and obsession with death I have yet to understand .
