The music in the first episode is the greatest thing in the world. It's like a general MIDI dance party in my head.

What I really don't understand is how at the end of one episode Nagumo has turned into the beast and destroyed Tokyo with his tentacles... yet the next episode it's like this never happened (I haven't watched the series for awhile so I can't recall which eps exactly). Amano got hurt and so did Megumi and it was a very powerful ending - I really don't think it could've been a dream sequence? Other than that this series is great! I didn't like the Urotsukidoji 3 series with the robot and that beast man and those rebels though... what a bunch of mickey mouse bullshit!
