It was enough fun to make up for having to miss the feeling of reading a completely new CYOA.
I remember when Max had to write with cotton swabs up his nose to stop the cocaine nosebleeds. And when Boogie tried to shoot himself in a case of writer's block, but the bullet chipped his brain and inadvertedly gifted him with x-ray vision.
