Bush is the one who displayed his morality as a badge representing he and his administration. If He would have kept it private, as you've indicated, it wouldn't be fair play, from either those who support christian conservative values or those who take issue with it. Once you have used it as your weapon; however, the gauntlet is thrown and you get what you deseve.
