Old May 17th, 2004, 08:21 PM        A classic game.
I just got done buying a Tandy 1000 HX from a friend of mine for 10 bucks with an old game called "Pirates." I never played it until two days ago, but for a game made 17 years ago, the thing is pretty damn sweet. With the exception of sailing in "real time" (Which is kind of cool, but is soooo mind-numbingly slow when you are trying to travel against the wind), the game is extremely fun to play and pretty open-ended as far as what you want to be and what you can do. I would even go as far as to say that this game was more fun then some of the newest games I have played for PS2 and X-Box. Anyone else have a chance to play this classic?
