Just how much you don't know people

Three girls from work, I've known two for two years and the other for 6 months, regularly go to the pub at lunch with them.

One day as we returned to work and walked through the doors, one said "We're here!!" (as though anyone cared) and I said "And we're queer" (Cos it rhymed).

I thought that the others were laughing a bit too much.

I found out some months later that I was the only one there who wasn't queer. Just goes to show how much you don't realise about people.
