Howcome it seems like whenever you have a technical problem, yours is the only one not covered in any tech support forum?

Anyway...

So i've got this GeFore FX 5600 video card, right? 128 MB DDR Ram, whatever. So, i paid $60 for this thing, and i'd like to use it. Catch is (it's a PCI card, i was low on funds) that when i plug it in (drivers installed SEVERAL times, including drivers for a 64-bit processor which i KNOW i don't have, it's only 2.93 GHz) and attach the monitor cable, i get frozen at the win XP loadup screen. I can boot it fine in safe mode, but for some gay reason it like to freeze me at this screen. When i switch the slot it's in, the same thing happens. I know it's not overheating, and i know it's not lacking in power, because i can run it in safe mode. I even tried putting a small heatsink/fan on top of it and a larger CPU cooling fan underneath it and i still get frozen. Any ideas?

For the record, also, Is it me, or does NVidia make cards with tons and tons of hardware conflict problems?
