Game addicts

Ok, so one thing I can't really understand are people who get addicted to games. Sure, everyone who has played games has been addicted sometimes, but I'm more like talking about addiction that is so bad it affects your normal life.

Sure, there's nothing wrong if you relax and play few hours per week, but what about then when you play 12 hours a day? I'm mostly writing this because two of my friends are like that. They both are currently playing WoW and it's pretty creepy how far they can go with it.

They both play 8-12 hours a day and because of that they both suck in high school (or like they say "we don't care about our grades now. We'll study hard when it's time for final exams). Hell, there hasn't been a single day in school, when those two wouldn't have mentioned something about WoW after it came out. During the classes, they talk about WoW, during the lunch breaks, they discuss about +4 fire hammer of divine justice or someother random crap like that.

And what about during breaks? Where can you find them? From our school's computer class? Yes. Are they playing WoW? Hell no, but something quite similiar... they spend the whole fucking break watching WoW based videos, and sometimes they even skip the classes because of them. Also, what I've learned from their talk, they've added somesort of a program that makes all the human and nightelf women show in a bikini wear.

Also, one problem is that one of these guys has a serious anger management problem, he simply can’t stand any critic against WoW without turning into a fucking Hulk. Hell, this one time I was talking with my other friend about WoW in general and he happened to hear how I mocked WoW And damn, he comes right in front of me and starts yelling in the middle of the school hall something like “OH YEAH? CAN YOU PROVE THAT IT’S CRAPPY? HUH? PROVE IT! HOW IS IT CRAPPY!?”. And most of all, they think that WoW is the only great game, all the other games suck, and if you don't play WoW, you're a retard(reminds me of this one day when they made a scene out of me and called me a geek/nerd because I play Baldur's Gate).

I don’t know am I just an idiot who sticks his nose into other’s business but I’m actually pretty worried about them, they are my friends after all… Or should I just ignore them and let them do what they want? D:
