It will make us better. Competition does that, y'know. As it stands, there is no incentive for our government to anything differently. China's economy should surpass our own within about 10-15 years. Brazil's leading the G22 into a bloc that might eliminate the g8 structure altogether, since the EU has pretty much corrupted that body's ability to get things done.

As long as we remain the sole world leader, we will continue to slide away from the concept of "land of the free, home of the brave." As it is now, we are no longer anything close to that. With global competition, there is a chance we'll find our way again.

Go Other Countries!!!

mburbank~ Yes, okay, fine, I do know what you meant, but why is it not possible for you to get through a paragraph without making all the words cry?

How can someone who obviously thinks so much of their ideas have so little respect for expressing them? How can someone who so yearns to be taken seriously make so little effort?!
