Yeah, Nick Cave can be pretty hit-or-miss and he can be pretty hard to get into.
He's very good at writing dark lyrics, though. I like when he writes story-songs. This is why "Murder Ballads" is my favorite Bad Seeds album. The album is nine songs about murder and death, and then a Bob Dylan cover.
He's no Tom Waits, but I like his stuff pretty well.
I've had plenty of whiskey and I have to be at work in four hours. I will get some sleep. I love you, good-night.
