I thought Zodiac kind of sounded like a fool...he wrote like he was half illiterate, he made all sorts of outrageous claims (his "death machine," etc) and, while it must've taken balls to leave so much evidence and write all those letters, the way he blew his own horn so much made him sound almost petty, like a young teenager. "Make everyone wear buttons!" "I might have to do my thing! I might be nasty!" "You'd better print this in the paper!"

I have to go with Fish on this one. You've got to be way more messed up to do what he did than to just shoot or stab some people.
