I use Mozilla Firebird, the stripped-down version of Mozilla...not sure what they took out, since it seems to have more features than Mozilla proper, but it's a smaller program (no install either, just a zip) and runs as fast as IE for me. The only issue I've noticed is that the form autofill can crash it occasionally, but I'm willing to put up with this in exchange for mouse gesture support.
