I thought the point was that, in 1998 before the kicked the inspectors out, that they could find neither the WMD nor the records of destruction for them. Thus, the prevailing theory is NOT that they still have the WMD but that they destroyed the records of their destruction as well. I don't know if this method was designed to show that they NEVER had them or what but nobody has been able to prove the case otherwise. Did they ever have them? Yes. Have they been destroyed? Well, there are no records to show that that is the case but there haven't been any WMD found either. Therefore, the onus is on Dubbya to prove his case which he hasn't so far. In all honesty, for the sake of American peace of mind, I hope he does find them but he hasn't. That is all. Dubbya, your serve.
