Exactly. The people making minimum wage aren't the ones who are supporting the economy. Target won't care if a few hundred thousand teenagers and retirees only make half as much as they do now; they've got millions of consumers with *real* jobs to rely on. Even the people in lower classes whom I've met generally work for more than minimum wage, else they really wouldn't be able to support their families. You see a guy over the age of 25 bagging groceries or working in a gas station, either he's the manager or he has another source of income.
