While I think a number of people in the administration would favor opening a front with Syria, I think as long as American soldiers are dying every day in Iraq it will be very hard to mobilize the will to do this.
So, my corallary is, If W. wins reelection look for a serious ramp up to war with Syria to begin, and not before.
