I got my copies of Strangers With Candy, Season 2 and Upright Citizens Brigade, Season 1 today.

I can't believe how much of this show I had forgotten. The DVDs rule all. The extras leave a lot to be desired, unfortunately. I mean, they're not bad or anything. But there's so much UCB stuff out there that I would have loved to see added. Like Litte Donny on the Daily Show, or UCB's appearance on Premiun Blend.

The original pilot is fucking terrifying. It has a live show feel (because it was from a... LIVE SHOW!), almost exactly like Mr. Show, and complete with audience reaction. And at least now we have an explanation as to why Antoine was bald in the intro. He was bald in the pilot.

But yeah, you all must buy the DVDs. Like, now. Don't wait for Christmas.
