You will not believe the number of geeky references to popular culture in there - no doubt helped by the fact that one of the main characters is in fact a struggling cartoonist who works in a comic shop (by dressing up as a space alien and handing out flyers).

His best friend is a weapon expert who got kicked out of the army for commandeering a tank and trying to invade Paris (but stopped off at Disneyland Paris where we was subsequently apprehended on Space Mountain).
