I do believe one part looks hoaxed. It looks like he goes into his shrinking phase when he gets "hit" with a cannon ball in the tank stages in World 8, but I could be wrong.

Yes there is. You use one whistle and to get to the warp, and while at the warp you use the other one. It takes you to the 8th one. But he does cheat.

In the world of mario, the pixels that make up his HAT are inactive, so wrenches and other shit being thrown at you can appear to go through the hat.

It had to start hitting the actual HEAD to do damage.

I read this in a book on Super Mario World. I guess it works in 3 as well.

He did cheat though. He's blatantly using a turbo controller.
