Why can't I remember my GOOD dreams?

The only dream I've had like the ones being discussed, is one time I was married to heather graham and I cheated on her with some whore and when she left me I was incredibly sad

Then I woke up and felt very odd for actually being very, very sad in the dream.

I like dreams with super powers though. Usually they just stop working once I figure out I've got the powers :/
