She awakes in the morning,
After a night of crying herself to sleep,
Gets up, puts Her clothes on, and stumbles to school
When She gets there, the voices ring throughout the hall.
The laughs, the jeers, the profanities
They echo over and over inside Her head,
Fingers jab her and burrow into her mind,
As they point in Her direction.
She sits in Her seat, sits through the day, to herself, determined.
Poked and prodded, pelted with unfriendly, seering objects.
When the bell rings,
She goes to town and enters the kitchen
She puts on her apron,
And dishes out the food.
Working tirelessly for those who cannot feed themselves.
They all peer into her face, gazing
They see She's almost in tears
Everyone knows.
Everyone in that room except Her,
Can see just how Beautiful She is
