I'm not a guy, but I'll butt in anyway cause that is what I do best.
First of all, from what you have described yourself as I'm assuming that not all the guys looking at you are "checking you out" some may be, but some are probably just looking to stare at the girl with the blue hair.

Secondly, you have to realize that different things appeal to different people.
For example, someone with the looks of yourself tend to draw people that look somewhat similiar i.e. peircings, colored hair, spiked leather jackets, etc...
So, you probably have guys that like the way you look drawn to you because of your looks.
