One day I kept getting people IMing me going "that link doesn't work" or "what is it?" or "who are you?" or their away messages would just pop up without me actually messaging me. When they all said I messaged them first, and I realized how uncharacteristic of my friend it was to paste to me a topical webgame and then act like I messaged them before they did.
