Well, because of the sinkhole on the side of the house that appeared in the 70's, this house has been eternally creaking since it is slowly falling apart. It was funny when Mark kept trying to turn on the lights when there was no switch on the side of the wall, and slammed his knuckles on the wall repeatedly trying to find it; it happened in just about every room he entered.
