If "attacking your troops" means defending a mine that I had already haunted, which you started attacking, then yeah, I guess I "kept on attacking your troops".
And there's no life to be "spared" because you couldn't make it into my base, Hor can vouche for that. He was the only one powerful enough to destroy all o' my big defenses. And boy did he ever.
Italian, I actually was the last to die this time, so that's at least encouraging
