If we gave up on fighting the communists and didn't push for democracy then than who knows what kinda regime might have came over the Soviet nation. You can't just say that something would've happened anyways, because there's no way to proove that everything else would be the same. It's kinda a juvenille look on time but saying that Ronald Reagan had no hand in the downfall of the Soviets is too...
Just because you didn't like the man doesn't mean that you have to like him now that he's dead, just don't disrespect him...
