I don't particularly like him, but I would hope that he'd be remembered as a great person when he died, whether he is or not. I'm sure there are some people out there that love and respect him as a person AND as a President and it'd be unfair to portray him as a villain to coming generations.
It's sacrificing honesty for common decency, as far as I'm concerned. :/
