Dear Iris, Are you more likely to get eaten by a shark when you are on your period? Thanks,
We got the answer straight from an oceanographer! "It has been recommended that a menstruating woman should abstain from swimming in areas where sharks are nearby in order to minimize the risks of attracting sharks. This assumes, of course, that her flow is somehow getting into the water, and with the options available to women today this may not be the case. But it is possible for sharks to sense these fluids and investigate further. Assume that sharks might do this, and common sense should dictate the rules."
So..no swimming when you are menstruating unless you are using a Tampax tampon! Good luck--Iris
hay thisa tampon website has alot kewl situff for teens!!
