Bush on Edwards: Pot, meet Kettle

hat was precisely my thoughts as well reading W's flippancy this morning on my way to work. The Bush family has never scrupled at inexperience. Bush pere gave us Dan Quail , the most singularly unprepaired to be chief executive until Jr. stepped up to the plate.

When he ran for gov of Texas, in what way was he 'experienced'? Sinking a series of oil endeavors? Lending his name to the management of a friggin' baseball team? It's a little late in the game for W to be claiming experience is a qualifier.

As for Chenney being able to be president, well if by being steeped in corruption and having passed into the red zone of the acctuarial tables is experience, yeah, he's your man. Truthfully though, it's amazing he's alive right now. I think anyone who has a heart attack about once a year is a bad bet, but that's just me.
