Battle Masters wasn't really open-ended. And you needed a large enough place for that 3'x3' mat, and damn-near every stand or figure broke.

But I have it, and it rocked.

Other games that rock include Mutant Chronicles and Weapons & Warriors. But HeroQuest is the best one.
