This type of stuff doesn't get anywhere though, just a bunch of talk. We escape reality when we play a video game. After the game is over, people need to step back past that line into reality again. If they don't then it's simple, they have some kind of problem differentiating reality from fiction and need mental help.
If a violent game causes people to kill people then a non violent game like Mario Bros would make me go and jump on turtles.
People love to blame other factors other than themselves. We do it all the time. These are no different, just on a more serious scale.
