Nonsense. First of all, we can sit here and speculate what would have prevented 9/11 until we get senile and die, and it's irrelevant. It did happen, and what could have prevented it doesn't mean dick. Besides, it seems to me that the 9/11 commission stated that the government had the tools it needed to prevent such an event before the PATRIOT Act was shoved through Congress.

And there's no such phrase as "could of." It's COULD HAVE, goddammit. That pisses me off nearly as much as the PATRIOT Act.
