OAO, I'm gonna be the nice guy here and tell you that I've been in your shoes. I don't know the circumstances or the pomps but I can tell you that no matter the situation, it'll end up badly. I bagged the girl I was kinda going after (though I wasn't as persistent as you) and we went out for nine months.

I found out later that she was sending letters to her ex saying "I STILL LOVE YOU, LET'S GET BACK TOGETHER" and keeping a box with stuff he gave her under her bed.

So, the moral is, you'll never be happy. So stop trying, it's pissing people off.
