as far as i'm concerned fartin soulseek is really great and no bullsh*t you should give it a try dude! i also use winmx and though it's spyware free it's comparatively unpopular (it's a good alternative if soulseeks well runs dry
)
if you've got the spyware blues my recommendation is that you get, at the very least :adaware, spybot s&d, and spyware blaster
but yeah if you're not up for that i understand i couldn't imagine having a pc without those programs though
