How Do You Explain Yourself?

my dad left when i was a babe
everything else was fine until he died
then i went nuts
and then my mom died
and then i had an abusive boyfriend
and then i got pregnant
and then i had a misacarriage
and then i drank
a lot
and did drugs
a lot

but now i'm happy and pregnant and don't do any of that stuff cause i finally figured out how to forgive myself and love life and all those other's cliches.
