They should call this show Larry David is a Fucking Asshole. The great thing about this show is that he's such a dick to everyone in the show, and since there's not a huge amount of interpersonal continuity, he always gets away with everything that he does. He's just a fucking ass.
My favorite moment: Larry is at an Incest Survivor's meeting with his ex-girlfriend because he's the only person she told about being molested by her stepfather, and she didn't want to go alone. After everyone has spoken, they all look at him and wait for him to say something. Rather than say he's there as a favor, he makes up a whole story about how he was raped by his uncle.
It's really the surprise element of the show that i like. Like you know he's going to get into an awkward argument with someone, but you don't really know what kind of horrible shit he's gonna get away with whenever you're watching it.
