I think this has been out for a while, and I'm pretty sure it's the best version out there. I have the original region 3 release, which has some okay extras (most of which aren't subtitled) and is letterboxed (like most Hong Kong DVDs seem to be). The one you're thinking about appears to have the same extras plus some other stuff thrown in, but more importantly the image is anamorphic.
