Eye Tie might be better able to answer that, but I think it's unlikely. I think that the State Department at least
used to acknowledge what a rotten regime this was, but quickly developed a case of amnesia during the war with the Taliban.
I also don't think we should be waiting on this administration to do anything, because you might end up waiting a long time.
