It upsets me a huge amount. I don't think 'upset' even covers it. The sarcastic tone has to do with a long held belief that a chunk of people who call themselves 'liberatarians' are actually extreme right wing conservatives, and as long as their guy is curtailing the civil rights of homos, liberals, and suspiciously tan potential Arabs it's not that big a deal.
