Alright, I know Navy enlisted ranks, and marine ranks, but I know fuck all about Army ranks.
I think he's an E-5 though. If I'm right about this, he's the civilian equivilent to lower middle management between the squids and the goat locker. Rate depending, advancement is pretty quick up til E-5, afterwards it slows down considerably.
