It reminded of that time nintendo released a cd drive for the SNES,and it failed. HORRIBLY
I'm pretty sure Nintendo never actually released anything. The first attempt at a CD drive was a collaboration with Philips, which resulted in the CD-i. The second one was with Sony, and... well, you know.
