The download time depends on a number of factors:
A) Your connection speed
B) The connection speed of the person(s) you're uploading from
C) The size of the file.

And no, there's really now way to tell exactly what you're getting sometimes. You can always test out the "Preview" function in Kazaa, but if the movie requires a codec, it won't preview. Also, try and narrow out the shit by checking the file extension and the integrity.

A couple of times I've ended up downloading movies that were renamed. I ended up downloading "Fight Club" when I looked for Half Baked. Then when I looked for "Fight Club" I got 8 Mile. It's all fucked up.
