Naruto is ok, it's just sometimes so friggin' lame Talk about fillers, crappy ones too D:

Bleach is much better from these 50+ episode animes

I liked Naruto until the stuff after the story arc that included the Lee vs. Gaara fight. After that, it was less of tactical type battles and more of "HEY YOU GUYS I GOTTA GET STRONG LETS GO TRAIN FOR 30 EPISODES" and it went downhill from there.

Favorite fight: Naruto & Sasuke vs. Haku now that was a good fight let me tell you

How can anyone stand to watch Naruto for more than five minutes? I mean jesus, his voice is like a million times worse than the usual prepubescent anime hero portrayed by Tress Macneille, and having him say BELIEVE IT over and over again every 5 seconds just makes me want to punch somebody in the dick.

ITS ALL BULLSHIT! This section of the boards is anti-anime. Anime is as redundant as using acne cream in conjunction with wiping your face with bacon grease afterwards. Its the same bullshit over and over. Kid gets super powers-gets all angsty-rapes best friend- fighs-wins-fights loses- gets angsty-wins- gets happy- rapes mother- then she dies in a miscairrage of the inbred baby- gets angsty again series ends with no real resolution, then within minutes theres poorly drawn furry porn of it up all over the internet.

You've never actually watched anime, have you? For me, I can't really say I hate something until I try it for myself, no matter how bad the rumors are. Although what you've described is pretty much a recipe for Naruto, minus the mother rapings. However, there are plenty of animes and mangas out there that don't follow "regular kid gains superpowers and is somehow better than everyone", but there are also a lot that do.

The stuff I watch isn't usually considered conventional anime, mostly because those kinds bore the hell out of me. One example I keep pushing is Monster, mostly because it has a fucking awesome story if you can get past Nina crying about every damn memory she recovers. The art also doesn't go heavy on the big eyes and leather bustiers like I see in a lot of others, and takes on a more realistic feel, probably to reflect all the sadistic things that go on. I know it's kind of an uphill battle, but eh...it's what I believe :/
