As long as you're not intelligently stupid, as Voegelin might say, intelligence is more important than compassion. Cus no one has a right to be stupid, even compassionate people. Compassionate people who are stupid can fuck things up with their good intentions, but intelligent people who aren't compassionate or intelligently stupid won't fuck things up to a great extent, because they'll understand the need for responsobility for the consequences of fucking things up for other people.
