i just don't see the point in owning a simplified-interface device that is MORE expensive, is all

and that's where the nintendo-apple comparison falls apart, since nintendo's been generally cheaper than all its competitors across-board for the past five years or so

i just don't like the fruity new controllers, and apple's brought cross-platform compatibility in way too late and at too high a price for that to sell me on them
