Here's another question for ya, Max. If this was about the war, and how conservative Lieberman supposedly is, well than why isn't everybody supporting Jonathan Tasini in his bid to beat Hillary in the Dem. primary? I actually met him on the streets of NYC a couple of days ago, nice guy. He's anti-war, and clearly more liberal than Hillary. You could also argue that NY is more left-leaning than Connecticut, so why doesn't this guy have ned lamont-type of support, if people do indeed just vote the way they vote?

The bid against Lieberman was all about political perception. The perception generated by Lefty extremists is that Lieberman is like Zell Miller, which is absolutely false. But like karl Rove says, if you have to spend time defending yourself, you've already lost. THe LEfties took this one right from his book.
