Great movie. Fond memories of it's creepiness.
True story, the drug talked about in the film, and the book, is now actually used in various surgies involving people with advanced metabolisms and traditional allergies. My brother was put under with it, due to the fact he has both of the above as well as stickler syndrome.
BTW, for some reason I completely blocked out the fact that Bill Pullman was in that movie - I sort of blurred this and Prince of Darkness together. The last time I watched it, the two were back to back.
