Although the shooting took place on the same campus 6 months prior to yesterday's, you can't really blame the police for assuming the first shooting was an isolated domestic incident that prevented them from taking extensive measure to clamp down the campus. But then when the second shooting was occuring that killed 30 people including the gunman, the police was standing outside waiting for the shooting to end before entering the building which is precisely the same thing happened at columbine high school.
