Camp Snoopy didn't close. The Mall of America owners (damn Canadians) seized it from Cedar Fair, laid off all their entertainment (including me) and a year later dropped the Camp Snoopy license because they didn't want to pay for it. The park stayed open with a generic name.
That was a college job anyway. I couldn't survive on it now that I have to actually pay for food and housing. Target's not bad for a little while. I'm only staying here until I go back to school next year.
BUT the Mall has a new licensing agreement with Nickelodeon and everything's going to change next spring. They still don't want to hire my band for more than a handful of special gigs yearly (only two parades this summer

), but I'm trying to find a corporate sponsor to pay us full-time salaries in exchange for putting their name all over us and performing in the amusement park.
