I agree with The Night the Reindeer Died being a full movie. That and 'Thanksgiving' would be the best holiday double feature ever fucking made.

Don't knock "A Christmas Story", while you may be sick of it after seeing it so many times, it's still a holiday classic and better than most of the Christmas flicks out there. I just think they should loop 3 or 4 movies all day long on TBS instead of that one movie.

A Christmas Story, Scrooged, Christmas Vacation, Jingle All The Way, Bad Santa... loop those movies all day and I'll be set.

Wouldn't mind seeing some channel loop nothing but Christmas-themed horror movies all day long too. You know... Jack Frost, Silent Night Deadly Night 1 & 2, Black Christmas, Gremlins... that'd be a hell of a good time if you ask me. Granted, I already own all of them on DVD, but there's something special about seeing movies like that come on TV, ya know?

Yeah man, I'd kill to have The Night the Reindeer Died as a real movie, but we know that's never gonna happen. Thanksgiving, however, is rumored to become a real movie... albeit direct to video last time I heard.

Scrooged is one of those holiday movies you get around the 21st-ish of December, before the channels are warming up and bring out the 'big guns' - 'big guns' in christmas movie network executive terms being, well, anything by Pixar or The Great Escape

That's why I just love those 80's perennial favorites (Scrooged, Gremlins etc), as they instantly take you you a time when christmas is still exciting as it's just around the corner, but before all the disappointment, family-related stress and mental anguish take their toll.

Rog, I salute you!
