I never had problems with the barrel when I played Sonic3 on Mega Drive. But when I played the game few years ago on emulator it was frustrating. To make things worse, the carnival zone's music is fucking annoying, as if the game itself would mock you for your retarded attempts to pass the barrel

I never had problems with this personally, and I didn't realize frustration with this part of the game was universal until everybody on the internet complained about it.
